Rupesh Verma (b.1999) is a lens based artist from Shimla.Professionally, he has worked as a cinematographer, video editor, and colorist. Over time, he has contributed his skills to a variety of freelance projects spanning different genres and formats, including documentary assignments commissioned by non-governmental organizations (NGOs). After earning a bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 2021 and working a brief period as a video editor he decided to pursue life as a freelance photographer and film maker. Currently enrolled in a masters program in Photography Design at National Institute of Design, Rupesh’s work explores how human actions shape natural and built landscapes.
